What might be an alternative option for your tuxedo jacket especially in warm weather

If we heard the word black tie; most of our minds would suddenly think the colour of black and wearing appropriate attire for that special occasion, hence, in that case, a black or midnight blue tuxedo predominantly plays a vital role, which is quite conservative and elegant.

However, we all know the tuxedo/ dinner suit is traditionally considered to wear (on special occasions) as an evening suit, significantly for the black-tie event.

Hence it has classified regulations to maintain the level of formality and elegance of the attire; which you could watch in this video

Nevertheless, we have an alternative option interms of choosing the jacket rather than a regular tuxedo suit jacket; which is called the dinner jacket.

Therefore, we could add some colours and the pattern to the attire, perhaps you could commission your new dinner jacket in velvet, jacquard, or black watch tartan, and particularly I decided to write this article to share with you the most classic and significant diner jacket also my favourite as well, which is the white dinner jacket.

Although, it could be an ivory or cream colour; is primarily made of tropical wool, linen and silk, hence it's an appropriate dinner jacket to wear in warm weather (spring, summer).

However, In terms of the design I would prefer structured shoulders, roped sleeve heads, also self-facing shawl lapel and of course one welted pocket on the chest and two jetted pockets on the side; besides as always no vents,

but you have a choice to choose the lapel for your dinner jacket whether it should be a shawl/peak lapel, for vents I would suggest a centre vent if you insist, and the buttons should be self-covered; which means the buttons are covered by the same fabric of the jacket.

For this look, I would finish with a pair of black velvet slip-on to give a nonchalance and flamboyant look. Perhaps if you like to look a bit more conservative then you could choose to wear a pair of black Oxford or opera pumps; preferably patent leather or calfskin which are supposed to be mirror shine on the toe and heel counter.
